M.S. and Ph.D. Engineering Science – chemical engineering emphasis
With these programs, you’ll be able to apply chemical engineering science – such as transport phenomena, thermodynamics, chemical reaction engineering and applied mathematics – to complex projects. You will gain the foundation for a successful career in engineering, medicine, professional education, public policy, the military, management and sales. And, a Ph.D. will equip you with the experience to conduct research -generating and disseminating new knowledge.

Admissions criteria
An overall B average in undergraduate course work taken at Ole Miss or other approved colleges is required. We are looking for students with a strong academic background in chemical engineering or related fields. We’ll also consider students with undergraduate degrees in the physical sciences (chemistry, physics, etc.) but they might need to complete several undergraduate courses prior to full admission.
